After getting an analyst offer does the bank just place you in a group or do you have any say of where you go (ie M&A, ECM or DCM). Additionally, when the sector groups are referenced does the group provide all of the services above? Or are there separate sectors within each service offering (i.e. TMT M&A advisory or Healthcare ECM)? Thanks for the help.
