I am avid lover of nature and financial models. What more can you ask than to be building a model while watching two moose canoodle. Well, Alaska will give me the best of both worlds: financial models and nature. To give some background information, I currently an intern at a firm in the Big Apple. I tried fishing and canoeing in Hudson, which was fun but the fish I caught and ate gave me large rash and sharp stomach pains. I am desperately trying to lateral to Anchorage, does anyone have an advice or know someone that could help me get there?

I lived in Alaska for a couple years. It is amazing, I wish there were more finance jobs there. The only relevant job I could think of is working Alaska Permanent Fund. It is no CalPERS, but it seems like the best finance gig in Alaska as far as I could tell.
