IB Postgrad Placement Question

Hi all, I'm currently a student at a target university for my bank (large Euro) who'll be working in a fund finance/IB credit role next summer. I've been thinking a lot about where I'd like to live postgrad and while NYC is nice, if I'm going to be paying absurd taxes I'd rather be in London. The team I'm hoping to work under (I've connected w/many VPs, the MD and a few analysts) is headed out of London and I'd rather work there, as there's also more connection with the Asian teams on the London desk and I hope to be dialed into the team's work in Tokyo and Hong Kong. How should I go about indicating my interest in potentially being sent to London? Would it seem rude if I brought it up after my interview for the full-time position? If it seems rude/unprofessional, how would you all recommend to navigate this issue? Thanks in advance :)
