IBD/ Corp Fin. Salary in HK
Anyone knows what is the average market salary for a 2nd year IBD/ Corp finance analyst in HK with a BB ? Do US banks typically pay more than European Banks? Has the crisis impacted base salary significantly? Is Salary in HK on par with other financial centres?
I am a management consultant and currently looking to go into investment bank, and I was told this is the position I will be joining if I get an offer. How much can I expect?
i don't know about ibd, but i was just offered to work as a S&T intern at a BB, and the salary is around HKD550k prorated.
I have a friend who got an ibd intern offer at a HK BB as well and it's pretty much the same.
mind you that the salaries tax rate in HK is about 15% only, so u would definitely earn more after tax compared to working in the US
