IBD networking dilemma
Hi guys wanted your advice on networking. In the pursuit of reaching out to people at BB or MM banks, what if you get an opportunity to speak with one of them and they forward your resume or consider you internally. Is it still a good idea to try and reach out to others at the bank? Is there a possibility of the first guy getting upset that you involved others lessening his/her importance or they happy that you reaching out to more people. Appreciate your inputs.

Yeah keep reaching out, but don't over do it (i.e. 10 informational interviews is probably excessive). You can always frame the new conversation as "Hey I've already spoken with X, but I wanted to get your perspective because of your [insert how they are different from X - could be anything from their group to their seniority).
