IBD Resume Review

I am planning on applying to SA internships in IBD. I know that usually alums from my school will review my resume, but does anyone know if alums from another division like S&T will review my resume as well? What if there are no alums from my school in IBD or the division I apply to? Thanks!

Whilst the information that you interned with the particular bank before may not be revealed at the application stage, what will you say if you are invited to interview and asked what you did during the summer of your sophomore year?

You are overestimating the implications of not getting an offer first time out. Be fully honest, have a plausible answer for why you didn’t like / didn’t get an offer from that division and hope for the best.

A friend of mine was in a somewhat similar situation. He was extended a full-time offer from another division, after having failed to secure an offer from the division he had interned with the previous summer at the same bank.

Best of luck.
