IBD SA strength-based interview

Hi,

I tried to find a clear and specific definition of "strength-based interview" online but haven't managed to find one. I have a phone interview in a few days for a SA IBD position.

What exactly does this entail? types of questions? ratio of technical/fit questions?

Thanks

Google "strength based interview". The first link seems helpful. I've personally never heard of it before. Are you in the UK?

If this is for Barclays (only bank I know doing these interviews) here is some of the questions you may get:

What is your understanding of Barclay’s values and strategy and what do you think about this? Do you think the people around you would say you always try and improve things? When you are teaching things to other people, are you often satisfied with their understanding of the matter? How would you feel if a senior manager asked you to explain a complex matter briefly? When you build relationships, what do you do differently than most people and why? How do you build trust with people? . When you hear about global incidents, do you link these in your head to banking? How would you react to working in a diverse team where people have different opinions on how to do things? How would you feel if an organization you were a part of was portrayed in the media as having behaved unethically? Do you prefer working in a team or alone?
