IBD: UVA vs UT Austin vs BU vs Wisconsin vs Wash St. Louis(Econ)

Hi guys,

UVA vs UT Austin vs Wash St. Louis vs BU vs UIUC vs Wisconsin (Econ) Which one would be the best choice for IBD in US or HK? Do they all sponsor international students (I'm from China) I really need your help! Should I apply for other similar universities? Much appreciate! Please!

I'd say UVA, UT, and UIUC are your best bets to land an IB job out of undergrad with a few caveats. UT and UIUC probably maximize the odds of you landing an analyst gig, but you'll likely be steered towards their respective nearby banking hubs (Houston and Chicago). UVA probably will give you the best chance at landing in NYC although it'll be a slightly steeper hill to climb than the UT>>Houston or UIUC>>Chicago route.
