If I haven't heard back about FT applications by now...
Is it safe to assume that I have been denied? I applied to Barclays, DB, Citi, Lazard, and CS the first week of September and haven't received a response yet. I know most of these banks have already had their superdays or are having them in the coming week. Is there a slim chance I could receive a late invitation?
I'm taking the GMAT in a few weeks so I always have a MSF to fall back on. Plus I graduate in December so my plan is to continue to network for an off-cycle hire.
Thanks in advance.
Did you just apply on their website? If so then you were denied before the process even began. FT spots are so few and without networking/OCR then you're dead in the water.
Who is "them", the recruiters or your internal contacts?
Also worth noting that I go to a non-target in the southeast.
Poke around in the thread about FT deadlines - should be able to give you some color on the banks mentioned
I know DB has one more Superday in early October, but apparently its for just a handful of slots to fill in the headcount that wasn't attained from SA's and their September Superday so its going to be a shitshow for sure
Shameless bump for a nervous monkey
