im listed for 2028 but will finish in 2027

I'm a freshman at a semi target and have around 35 credits for year 1 and 25 transfer credts (60 total, 120 to graduate). i did the math and will graduate in 2027 and already have a pretty good resume (got into feeder org) but have zero networking and am listed for 2028 graduated.

i obviously want to graduate sooner to save money and start my career faster but im worried if 1. i apply and things go wrong, I apply again next year and they realize its me but just graduation year +1 and 2. if they check with my school and org which creates complications. Im not sure what to do, and if i chose to graduate in 2028, what to do with that whole free year.
