Inactive Brokerage Account
I know there are trading restrictions of some kind in all banks.
However, are there ever restrictions from having inactive brokerage accounts?
I ask because I have a brokerage account but I never perform any trades in it (it is to deposit my credit card cashback in).
you may have to pay a comission on your innactive account, check with your bank
a commission to my brokerage?
no, i'm asking if employers will have a problem with this brokerage even though i don't use it.
Inactive accounts aren't be a problem, as long as you don't have any open orders (limit orders, trailing stop loss, etc.) It's the account activity they have to monitor, not the lack thereof.
great that's what i was hoping, thanks
