Income statement modeling

Hi there, I am creating an income statement model for the very first time on Microsoft. I am stuck on making two years of projections. What kind of assumptions should I be making to explain the future growth in revenues, costs, and such? How do you determine the value of such growth or decline, perhaps through percentage changes?

Any help would be appreciated!!
