Incoming college freshman meeting with an Associate tomorrow, what should I ask him?

I'm very lucky to have been connected to an Associate at an investment firm through a coworker of mine and am finally meeting him for dinner tomorrow evening. I'm about to graduate HS and will be attending university this fall. I'm interested in the field of Finance and IB. What are some things I should ask?

As HS students probably focus more on their story - how and why they got into finance; why they chose their particular coverage/product group within IB; how their group fared during covid, 2021 and what their outlook is; their view on the bank's culture and how it differentiates from other banks to win mandates; do some basic research on the market and their group so that you are knowledgeable in the conversation; I am guessing that you have an interest in finance so have some sort of story for why finance; good way to learn about the bank's recruiting timeline and the sophomore year programs so that you aware of that stuff when you apply in the future; also lastly try to connect outside of the IB/finance talk so that it is easier for you to follow up in the future.

Congrats on scoring the dinner and hope it goes well!

Thanks for your response! The meeting was more casual, and I asked him very basic questions e.g. his story, his college exp., the difference between finance vs. accounting, what he does on a daily basis, etc. But it was such an insightful experience for me
