Industrial vs. M&A group
hi I'm in the group placement process, and I was wondering if you guys have any insights on it. My top two groups are industrial and M&A. Thanks!

I heard industrial is super sweaty and has bad culture because of a few senior people. If you’re going to Citi M&A is their top group. It should be as equally as bad as industrial in terms of hours, but at least you get more modeling experience. Culture is not as bad as Industrial, but it’s mainly because when things get too busy, they’re too busy to take care of what’s on their plate rather than shxting on you.
Thanks
Industrials is generally good group -- good deal flow and most MDs are pretty reasonable. Several different verticals, but decent amount of people staying A2A fwiw.
How is the culture compared to M&A?
.
How would you classify the Chicago office? Seems like they're both industrials and M&A
