Finance folk generally aren’t going to respond well to no effort questions like this. You should form and provide a perspective, then people will be more happy to engage with you, and you will build valuable skills.

If by c&r you mean consumer and if you’re interested in PE, then would just note that those are very different verticals. Industrials comprises pretty boring but cash generative businesses, good LBO material. Consumer is a lot of growth a lot of the time, scaling food and makeup brands for example. But also mature buyout.

 

As for me, I'm interested in industrials, consumer, healthcare, tech, and financial sponsors.
