Industry Reg. to FT Analyst Program

Hello WSO Im look for some advice going into FT recruiting this spring. I'm curious what analyst programs should I be targeting based on my experience. I am flexible on the program but I would like some insight as to what programs everyone thinks I would be most competitive for. (IB, ER, S&T, ECM, DCM, Corporate, other?)

Background: I currently have one year in securities regulation as an analyst in NYC (think SEC, CFTC, MSRB). My position includes some modeling, research and regularly working with FO Directors and Executives on compliance issues.

I previously worked in F100 corporate finance/ risk as an intern for about 2 years (PT during school). I graduated from a strong non-target with a finance undergrad degree (3.85 gpa). I also have some equity research experience with my University endowment fund that lasted about 6 months.

If anyone has experience transitioning from compliance to FO please chime in, I would appreciate any insight.
