Information on Goldman Sachs Frankfurt

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any insights on Goldman Sachs´ Frankfurt office with regard to culture, hours, and team size. It would also be great if anyone has insights on what type of deals the Frankfurt office does. Is the Frankfurt office handling materials/modeling or are they focusing on client relationships and running processes while the coverage teams in London handle materials/modeling? Do they only cover Germany or also other countries in the DACH region? Thankful for any insights.

Rather big compared to other firms in Frankfurt. Team is split between German coverage (focusing on german clients both for deals and coverage), Industrials, TMT, Natural Resources, Healthcare and CMG. Hours are by far the toughest amongst all geographies. You’ll do the same modelling/materials/CS/live split of job in Frankfurt vs other geographies. For german coverage and CMG, you’ll primarily focus on DACH. For other sector teams, it is Europe-wide.
