Insane hours incoming - advice ?

I am sole Analyst on all my deals and have 4 different CIMs going to market at the same time this Autumn.

Anyone have any advice how to maintain quality and manage my time here? Our CIMs are usually crazy detailed and often 100-150 pages.

If you can't lateral - push down work to any interns you have and fight for proper resources on your deals, sounds like you're getting crushed because you are very solid so you'll need to leverage

If you seniors are good (they can CLOSE and they recognize your work) and these four deals close + pool is good you are about to have one of the best junior bonuses on Wall Street. If you can get through all four

Use AI for the market research pieces and have it create master excel templates where possible. Was in a similar boat (not 4 CIMs at once tho, good grief) a little bit ago

files are what's going to get you. own the live version of every book, no one else saves over your master. if a VP or banker wants to mark something up, they get a copy, and it comes back to you to incorporate.

version up on every save, V9 becomes V10 becomes V11, and you never overwrite the prior one.

with four books running, you need to be able to pull any one back to an earlier state without guessing which file is which. seniors get genuinely pissed when their comments get lost, so label every version as commented or incorporated, that way it's always clear which markup made it in and which is still open. skip that step and someone's edits get overwritten, and nobody notices until the next markup.

if you're also setting the layout, get sign-off on the skeleton before you go into the fine detail. agree the section flow up front and you avoid re-cutting 100 pages after a late markup. that call may sit above you as the analyst, but push for it early and build to wherever the seniors land.
