Insights on Shea & Company? Software Boutique

Software boutqiue based in Boston / SF. Saw that this firm recruits at my school for SA and was wondering if there was any information at all about them out there in terms of culture, exit opps, etc.. Anyone?

Very solid boutique tech shop. Can't speak much to their exits or culture but if you're interested in software you'll get fantastic deal exposure here. They tend to beat out lots of the BBs for interesting mandates, and Micheal Shea is a very well-regarded ex-JPM banker.

I can't imagine buy-side exits will be at the same caliber as BB/EBs, but this is a good fallback if those don't work out and you're certain you want to do tech. They work with all kinds of tech sponsors (Clearlake, TCV, AKKR, Vector, Insight, Cove Hill), so you're sure to get plenty of exposure that will be valuable for PE recruiting.
