Intern --> Fulltime London numbers

Lehman has been converting about 50% of their intern class to full time. One of my best bud at Lehman just confirmed that last night.
Merrill: I was doing some models and bottles w/ an M&A analyst last night, and 75% offers for the intern class at his bank.

The down side: There were much fewer interns accepted in the intern class this year.

Thats about all I know so far. The Rothshield kid who went out with us was just starting full time so he wasn't in contact w/ anyone in his class, but apparently buisness has never been better.

I like to keep who I work for on the DL, all I can say is that interns don't know about their status yet at my company. (I am also on the S&T side, so it really just depends from desk to desk)

I'll be hearing from my friends over the city in the next few weeks, I'll try to keep people up to date on the grape vine.
