Intern to Full time Analyst Tips
I have previously had two summer analyst roles at a rapidly growing financial group (went from $400mm AUM to $1bn in one calendar year) in the midwest where I got a taste of the investment research and the financial planning sides of the firm. This summer I am going to be in NYC as a summer analyst as within a firm's loan syndications group. Thoughts on the advantages/disadvantages of having intern roles on the equity and debt sides? Tips on working within a syndications group? Any other tips/advice would be helpful and appreciated.
