Incoming undergrad freshman here planning out the summer internship. One option is to intern at a small to medium HF type firm in HK.
When recruiting for freshman/sophomore internships, would the location of HK rather than somewhere in the US put me at a disadvantage?

Any pre-college internship at a HF would put you ahead considerably. Plus interning in HK makes for a good story.
