Hey everyone, just wanted to gain an understanding of opportunities to work internationally in investment banking after already landing an associate role in the US. I tried looking for previous posts on the topic, but only found questions pertaining to new-hire roles aboard.
Prior to my current role, I used to work in consulting- my primary clients were in the US, but I had numerous opportunities to travel abroad for work (Canada, France, Germany etc.). I'm planning to work as a post-MBA associate in IB, and understand that the first 4-6 years of my career would need to be spent within the states. However, do banks provide opportunities to experienced associates/VP's to work overseas for a few years?
