Internship at a boutique investment bank
Does anyone know anything about Aegis Capital Corporation? I applied for a summer internship there and have a phone interview with them this upcoming week. I tried to do some online research on this boutique investment bank, but problem is, there does not seem to be a lot of information on it.
The internship will require me to research on mutual funds, stocks and carry out portfolio analysis. Can someone provide me with more information on a summer internship in their company? I would like to know more about the working culture, etc.
Also, an internship in a IB does not equal to a IB internship right?
I hope Google indexes this quickly so that Aegis Capital Corporation catches on and posts more stuff about what they do.
Correct, an internship at an investment bank does not necessarily equate to an investment banking internship. You could be put in a BO role, even at a boutique.
