Internship: NYC Trade Council or European MM IB
Hi, I need some advice.
Title sums it up pretty nicely I think.
I'm from a random European country and would like work in investment banking. I haven't gotten any offers from any of the BB's but right now I have the opportunity to accept an internship with what can best be described as my country's Trade Council in New York. I would be working with business establishment and helping companies from my country establish their businesses in the U.S.
Alternatively, I could choose to accept an internship with a MM IB in [random, small, European capital].
So, basically, it's: Finance in [small european capital] vs. Non-Finance in NYC. Which is best if I would like to work in investment banking in London after I graduate??
Any input is greatly appreciated!
