Interview after final interview?

Hi everyone,

Im looking for advice on how to approach this interview, it is for a finance grad scheme at a BB Bank, I had the final interview earlier this week and honestly I thought that I had really screwed it. (All brain cells left the chat when I said equity was cheaper than debt).

I have worked really hard to get to this point, especially when considering my background (non-target school, come from a council estate etc..) and I really want this job.

Would appreciate any advice on how I can prepare (its on Monday) and why they would ask to do another interview.

Thanks guys

Are you able to provide any additional info regarding this interview? Do you know whether it's a proper interview or just a coffee catch up in their office? What level of seniority is cc'd in the interview invite?

Not from the US so unsure on what the exact process is over there, but it's not completely uncommon for some firms to set up a final chat when they're tossing up between two candidates. In my opinion if this is after the final round it would be more likely a fit/culture check over a technical interview (technicals should've already been covered by the first few rounds).

The previous interviews were competency and then a commercial interview so some technical aspects were covered. All the interviews have been online and I believe it is meant to be a proper interview but I wasn’t given any guidance. After some linkedin stalking it looks like the interviewers are MDs/Partners. (Also Im actually from the UK, its for a London position)

Thank you!
