Interview answer
Hey guys,
So I've interviewed (final round) in the beginning of last week with the head of IB at a major international bank and I think the interview went well. At the end of the interview I've asked for details on what would happen next and he said that I would hear back from them the following week and if not, that I should go ahead and contact them. (isn't that weird? )
Since I haven't heard from them on tuesday, I took the lead and contacted them via e-mail yesterday but still haven't heard back.
Do you guys have any idea why this is taking so long ? I mean, in the end, it's just a yes or a no...
could have given someone else an offer and are waiting for an answer from them first
Call them. You will stand out. You will show you are interested, even though you have been interviewing with them.
I was waiting next week to give them a call. I don't want to harass either, considering I sent an e-mail yesterday.
