I would imagine McKinsey is much harder...but then again I've never applied to McKinsey and haven't heard back yet from Centerview so...

"When you really are enjoying what it is you do, who needs balance? There's your balance!"

Interviewing McKinsey just takes being a target (OCR dest.) with a 3.7-8... getting past that interview is another story but it isn't THAT hard to get the interview.

‎"Until and unless you discover that money is the root of all good, you ask for your own destruction. When money ceases to become the means by which men deal with one another, then men become the tools of other men. Blood, whips and guns or dollars."

I'm trying to get a sense of how hard it is to get an interview from Centerview. I heard that first year analysts clear 170000 after bonus (2x that of McKinsey BA's) and exit opps from Centerview is arguably much better than those from McKinsey.

WHAT?

Centerview = Harvey Mudd - top notch in what it does and a leader in a certain field (centerview for consumer M&A and Harvey for engineering) McKinsey = Harvard - the best corporate name on your resume, and the best school in the world
