Interview question - who inspires you and why
Heard this interview question come up recently and was wondering if anyone wanted to share what their answer might be? Who inspires you and what qualities do they have that you admire? I think for relevance try and frame your answer as you would if you were interviewing for an investment banking role. For me, I would say my college professor/mentor or my parents. But who would you say? How would you approach this?
I was asked this question in a first round, and it was a two-parter. Who inspires you in your own personal life? What public figure inspires you?
For personal life, I said my older sister and listed off really good reasons why, and I think my interviewer liked it because it was a break from the typical mom/dad answer. Maybe try something a tiny bit out of the box.
