interview questions for S.A

Hi, I was wondering what type of questions would someone expect who never had a "finance internship" and only took an online financial modeling class. What type of questions can one expect?

Thank you..

Unless you know the information you learned in the online class 100% backwards and forwards...I wouldn't mention it in an interview. Its ok to say youve done research online or have done some reading and trying to learn finance on your own....but if you say you took a course then thats an invitation for them to crush you with questions. Its tough but you want a good balance of showing you are making an effort but not sounding like you know what you are doing yet.

I would go to www.mergersandinquistions.com, they have some great articles about how to spin your story without previous experience. If you have any additional questions feel free to PM me.
