Interview Suit

Hey guys this is gonna be short and sweet. I found a suit on sale that‘s within my budget. Unfortunately it’s herringbone weave. Is that too much / a bad look for an interview setting? I’m really tall so it’s difficult to find suits in my size off the peg so now I don’t know if I should go for the cheaper off the peg option in herringbone or get a suit made at a reasonable price in a more subtle weave.

Just a yes or no answer to herringbone is more than enough of an answer for me.

Thanks!

I would go for the plain blue /grey suit for starting out. If you are planning to work in this field long-term, it's not a bad investment to have one made for you as you outlined. It will last longer and be more comfortable to wear.

Down the line after you made some money you can explore additional options that better fit your budget / height and requirements.

Best of luck.
