Interviewing for London from Dubai
Have an offer from a leading bank in Dubai for a long-term internship. Was previously an ANL 1 at a BB in London but was cut due to mass layoffs.
How difficult would it be to recruit for a banking / buyside role in London from Dubai? Particularly worried about the ability to interview while in Dubai, don't have any visa issues in the UK. Currently considering Dubai as a short-term move (<1 year).

Why were you fired as an AN1?
Mass layoffs at the bank. Not fired for bad performance or anything along these lines.
Shouldn't be issue - bank will either interview virtually, or pay for you to fly out.
Best of luck man. Knew market was sh*t but to see AN1's/AN2's being forced to off-cycles is not great to see for prospects.
