Told myself I’d start investing in crazy bull run on Jan 1. Exposed myself to crypto hype via a bit of bitcoin (55% loss), coinbase (80% loss), and Riot Blockchain (80% loss). Overall portfolio down 45%, and not even investing in risky companies (i.e., got unlucky with Facebook during its hype with Meta and meta-verse, Disney, etc). Major Wojak moment.
