also interested in this question. i'd like to add: what do people generally do after b-school when their trajectory looks like: reputable IBD -> megafund pe -> b-school -> ???
From what I understand the B-school population is getting more and more skewed towards consulting in recent days. In addition, there isn't as much favoritism for bankers compared to other financial roles - a lot of the prestige is firm dependent not position dependent.
