Investment Banking Interview Screwed Up? Yes or No?

Just completed my interviews in IBD, do okay with several associates and very well with 1-2 VPs, but screwed up with MD on the technicals as I panicked during the last interview. Emailed and thanked the MD to which he said thank you back. HR then emailed me saying that they are still interviewing other candidates and will need around 2-3 weeks minimum to get back. Am I done?  Who has the biggest say in the decision making process? Can the 1-2 VPs vouched for me even though i screwed up my technicals with the MD? What should I do in the meantime to increase my chances? I have pretty much emailed all the interviewers right after the interviews and many of the replied thanking me back.

Thanks in advance
