Investment Banking Volatility (Originally Posted: 04/18/2016)
In regards to recent volatility in the markets for banks in general, how does the current economic climate affect the job market for investment banking? As far as I can tell and infer, obviously trading has been hit hard, but so has M&A in terms of deal activity. Will this be a year like 08/09 for both summer internship return offers and ft hiring? Can anyone currently working in a BB that is affected by this chip in?
