What do you guys think pay the most between investment banking and physical commodity trading? (MD in investment banking or in private equity compared to physical commodity trader in one of the big commodity houses)
How representative is the following article about the physical commodity trading business:

How easy do you guys think is to get to this level of compensation when you start in the physical commodity business?
Right out of university apparently some commodity houses train you in different departments but there is no guaranteed or clear path to becoming a trader in these houses (Glencore, Trafigura, Nobel etc.)
