IPO in emerging market, especailly in China
The IPO market is booming in China, hundreds of companies are waiting in line to be listed in domestic market. However, some other firms, for example, small-medium sized companies have less chance to be considered. Besides, it is more difficult for them to get loan from state-owned banks.
Therefore, I am just thinking it might be a good idea to intoduce them in some secondary capital market (please pardon my word), where the requirements for IPO is lower and the costs are less compared with US market.
Any thoughts on this issue?
What about the Small-Medium Enterprise Board in Shenzhen? Sounds like that is geared specifically towards companies of that nature.
