I think this is less of an Altas issue and more of a PE issue (see all the threads lately about the “PE Associate Crisis” and PE exit ops).
It's partially due to Toronto not really having that strong of a PE industry as well. Folks wanting to stay in Toronto, and being forced to go down market to find new roles.
