Is an IBD Summer Internship worthy if you're not going into Inv. Banking?
I've held three past PWM/Asset MGMT Internships. Although I don't want to become an investment banker (most likely), I've heard IBD Summer Internships make a great avenue into other career paths like PE, VC, and even Wealth MGMT.
I want to work the 90+hrs/wk as a challenge over the summer, and the the compensation is definitely a plus. I'm hoping to gain some knowledge/experience/network through this. Is this wise?
Thoughts??
IBD FT make a great avenue into other career paths like PE, VC. Summer Internships are too short. But of course they are a great experience to have.
