Is an internship in audit at PwC useful for breaking into IB?
I've been offered this position, although I aim at working in IB. I'm getting my Undergraduate degree in a few months and unfortunately I don't have any internship experience yet.
I know having an internship in IB would be much better, but, full disclosure, I got rejected by all the big banks.
Should I keep searching or accept this role?
Also, if this information helps, my GPA is 3.5 and my GMAT score is 730. I'm going to apply for a Master's in Finance or a deferred MBA next year, but I wanted to take a gap year to get some internship experience.
However, I'm getting a bit scared and am not sure if I'll be able to break into the IB industry.
