Always thought analysts went through two year program then got the bump to associate starting in January of the following year (so being an analyst for like 2.4 years or maybe even just Sep of year 0 to Sep of year 2). However, on LinkedIn I'm seeing 2.5 - 2.8 years. Anyone have insight?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I am 90% sure that the 2.4 years is just rounded down to 2. At least that's how it works at our firm.
