Definitely overhyped here on wso. Pay is decent, but you get absolutely sweated. Seems they have been on a few cool deals but don't do a ton generally. All in all decent shopped but doesn't deserve the praise they get

 

Hasn’t been a single year since founding where they weren’t on a mega deal. For a team that small and that low profile (who actually knows anyone there lmao) imo the prestige is earned

 
Controversial

I find this whole "top-of-street-comp-in-exchange-for-regular-3-am-nights" model of boutique banking tacky at best and kinda nauseous at worst. They rarely make a dent in league tables, don't have the exits to match the experience, aren't really thought leaders in their space, have no lay prestige, have limited industry prestige, and rarely have the flashy tombstones (per capita) to make it worth it.
