Is it common to recruit FT buyside prior to starting your summer?
Current junior at a target (H/Y/P/W), and I'll be going to a EB RX group for summer of 2020. I've noticed that a lot of PE firms have started coming to campus looking to hire FT, but I was wondering if they ever considered hiring juniors for FT.
I signed my SA2020 offer before my summer even started so I wonder if PE firms were willing to do the same. I've also been approached by a hedge fund seeking to hire me FT, but I have no intentions of going to HF prior to PE or even IB
