Is it possible to turn down IB offer?

TL:DR - my fiancées boss is too scared to lose her so she is offering to pull some strings with connections to get me into an IB role.

Long story: So my fiancée works in the fashion industry in NYC and is basically running this designer’s company. She does everything for this woman and is the backbone of the operation. We are obviously engaged and she is planning on moving to Texas right before our wedding in 2Q24. Being a fashion designer, her boss has a lot of connections with wives of MDs in BB IB and a couple fund managers in CT. She asked for my resume so I sent it. The real question is if it works out after interviews is it even possible to say no?

I currently work for pennies in MM CB and put in ~50-60hrs a week and I’m the star analyst. Truth is, I like my job and the people I work with. I see a future here and my manager is constantly sweating that I’m going to leave. The carrot has been dangled for a while saying “the money will come” and I’ve seen it. My likely path is toward smaller corporate clients ($2bn revenue) and the guy whose shoes id like to fill makes a comfortable living ~500m-1mm/yr and gets to take his kids to school in the AM and eat dinner w his family in the PM. I feel like I’d go from being a big fish in a small pond to an average IB analyst on top of never seeing my newly wed wife. We’ve been long distance for a couple years now and I just don’t know if I could continue to never see her because of work instead of distance.

Thoughts?

Edit: I’m 23 for context
