thank you IlliniProgrammer for the reply i did delete my previous topic but realized that doing so was stupid.....
in my reading about informational interviews and meetings with MDs VPs EDs ect, after the meeting it is best to send a thank you email with some sort of question to keep the relationship going i was wondering what would be the norm type of questions as i found out it would be taboo to ask about SA positions in this email.thanks for the help
Get him to tell you a story, talk about himself or his group, or give you some advice. People love telling stories, talking about themselves, and (cough, IlliniProgrammer, cough) handing out advice.
i know, i met with him and we talked (or he talked) for like 2 hrs, i didnt know if asking more questions that would require a long answer would be crossing the persistant/annoying bountary line. but then again i want to keep the relationship alive and i did want to thank him for his time... thanks again for the help
