Is it weird to network with two people in the same office?
Basically title. Let’s say the first guy doesn’t reply, is it a no-no to hit up someone else within the office?

Don't think so. Lots of people get busy and never reply...
Nope, that’s what you’re supposed to do - if you chat with 5+ people in the group and they all had positive reviews, you’ll usually get the interview and potentially increases your chances to get an offer
This is what you should be doing. It's weird to hit up like 5 people all at the same time but you can't let your networking efforts rely on one person
Just don't send the same exact email at the same time to all of them. You'll become the joke of the bullpen
Among analysts, are you really discussing the names of people that email you? Or, is it more (i) likely only memorable people if in recruiting season (or months before), where you're receiving cold inbounds from up to 10+ students a week; (ii) every time student emails since during quiet months could be 1 person a week
They dont talk abt the kids that reach out at all. I emailed and networked hard with two ppl at the same office who were from the same school. One of them connected me with the other not knowing I already networked with him. This is after multiple calls with both.
