Do you just want to do your MBA to add a better name to your resume? or to just move into a different role?
I would go listen to Poets and Quants, they are one of the many MBA sites out there, but I like them a lot that and cover everything about MBAs in their podcast and website.
I ultimately want to move into IB from CB but also want to strengthen my education credentials to help my non-target background. I’ll give them a listen too for sure.
I truly think your best option is to work really hard at CB and try and internally transfer. I don't think the MBA is a bad idea but assuming you are young you will have a few years before you apply to an MBA anyways. The best thing you can do is make sure you have good recs and extra curriculars.
