Is New Money included in the definition of Consideration?
In the instance where a company was acquiring a stake in a target with a mix of new money ($100m) invested and cash off the table ($50m), would it be correct to refer to total consideration paid as $150m? Or is correct to only refer to the cash off the table portion as consideration and the new money just as new money invested? If so what would you call the total $150m?
Thanks
