Is OCR really all that it is cracked up to be?
When firms participate in a job fair at a college does that indicate that they are actually their looking to fill spots or are they just there to talk to some kids and get a few hours off of work?
I realize that in a recruiting season a company may be going to several different schools and pooling applicants from all of those schools in order to fill any positions they may have but I have never been sure that if I company is at a job fair they actually have opportunites available.
Yes.
Uh.. yes they are looking to recruit. Companies don't waste $$ like that anymore. Not in this economy.
Don't make the mistake I did and skip out on these if you're currently a student. Make plenty of contacts before you graduate.
